Jacira Aldrich was born on June 7, 2005, in Canberra, Australia. She spent most of her childhood there before moving to Jakarta, Indonesia, with her family at the age of twelve. Although adapting to a new environment wasn't easy at first, she gradually found comfort in the city she now calls home.
Now a fifth-semester English Literature student at Universitas Indonesia, Jacira spends most of her days surrounded by books, essays, and stories. Her interest in literature naturally extends to films, especially those with layered plots and memorable characters that leave plenty to think about long after the credits roll.
Whenever she has free time, Jacira enjoys wandering around Jakarta or taking short trips to nearby destinations with her camera in hand. Photography has become one of her favorite ways to capture small moments that might otherwise go unnoticed, while traveling gives her the chance to experience new places and create lasting memories with the people she cares about.
Though naturally quiet and reserved, Jacira values sincerity and meaningful conversations over large social circles. She believes that every place she visits, every story she reads, and every person she meets shapes the person she's becoming, one experience at a time.
